`A PLOTT ASWELL OF THE MANNOUR of [blank] lying in the parrishe Tarringnevell in the County of Sussex As also of all the freeholdes and Coppyholdes holden of the said mannor which Mannor together with the Demeasne herein also described are part of the possessions of ANTHONY FOWLE of Rotherfield in the County aforesaid Esquaiere the quantitie and number of Acres are sett downe and written in one Book made for that purpose directing by the lettres figures and numbers therein written to every severall peece herein described for the better finding out and shewing the quantitie and number of acres thereof and in whose occupation the same is nowat the tyme of the taking this Surveighe. The landes of the Lorde colored with green The Freehold with A ?brown colour and the Coppyholdes with A yellow colour ... Measured and P[lotted] the sixteenth day of March Anno Domini 1626 by Ambrose Cogger' Shows houses, fields (identified by letters and numbers), fences, the river and glebe land. Ink and colour on paper mounted on linen, 42" x 31" . Plain cartouche, compass rose, dividers surmounting a scale of perches (15 to 1 inch) within a plain border.
